UZER of Media #9: Unexpendable

SPOILERS: This episodes contains spoilers for the “Man in Charge” bonus content that comes with the released LOST Season 6 DVD/Blu-Ray Set.

UZER of Media #8: Where Are They Now?

On This weeks UZER of Media we take a trip to the past and revisit our favorite TGIF stars and what they’re doing these days (hint: drugs). We also discuss some TV stars incomes and the inverse correlation between talent and pay. Also, Toy Story 3 is Pixars highest grossing film. Weezer’s new album cover will be a surprise for LOST fans.

T.V. Shows and Movies we discuss include: Battlestar Galactica, Weeds, Moon, and Avatar the Last Airbender.

UZER of Media #7: Michio Kaku, Vampires, and Schmucks

This week we kick the show off with a discussion about Cheesecake Factory and its calorically gifted delights. We discuss some new LOST news regarding the special 12 minute clip on the collectors edition DVD on sale soon. Reece follows up on True Blood with some thoughts on the 3rd season and how it’s progressing so far. Mike watched some Sci-Fi Science starring our favorite scientist Michio Kaku, and Dinner for Schmucks and he tells us what he thought them.

Our special topic of the week is our top three comedy TV shows of all time. There are some pretty surprising choice and some not so surprising ones so listen in to find out!

UZER 5/3/2010: The Secret of AC Slater

This week on the show we carry on with our weekly 1 hour show variety format.  We talk about some of the current stuff for the week.  In news we talk about HP buying Palm, Apple buying Siri (to make a Ford Sync competitor?), the black Wii.  In Media we talk about our weekly viewings, our FINAL round of LOST theories, and AC Slater’s dark past solved.  App picks this week include 1Password for Windows, Penultimate for iPad, and Taska for iPhone/iPad.  Taska is a really interesting alternative to Things, so if you need a new full-featured GTD solution listen to the show.

UZER of MEDIA 3/22/2010: Seriously, Flosso, Really?

Today on UZER of MEDIA we have an absolute blast reviewing the Spring premier of ABC’s FlashForward.  We talk about South Park ratings, FlashForward’s ratings blackout, quick review of this week’s Community.

Mike gives his LOST theory that Widmore needs candidates to get back to the island and has enlisted Desmond to help gather them from he sideways.  Thus them being the ones in the secret sub room.

Awards of the week include Awesome Thing of the Week and Crap of the Week.  This week’s show really is fun and we think you guys will like it.
